Brian Schwartz is a physician specializing in the treatment of infectious diseases. His clinical and research interests include the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infections in immunocompromised patients. He serves as the Associate Chair for Education in the Department of Medicine and the Vice Chief for Clinical Affairs in the Division of Infectious Diseases at University of California, San Francisco. He previosuly served as the Chair of the Medical Education Community of Practice for the IDSA.
