I am a woman from Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican Republic. I studied medicine and a master's degree in physiology at the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo. Then I did my residency in internal medicine and infectology at the Salvador B. Gautier Hospital. I have a diploma in tropical medicine and I did a master's degree in virology at the Complutense University of Madrid. Currently, I am the president of the Dominican Society of Infectology.
Interests: teaching, research and clinical practice. I am also interested in philosophy and medical ethics.
