Sudeb Dalai, MD PhD, is a Stanford and MIT-trained Infectious Disease physician-scientist combining clinical practice with industry R&D in biotechnology. He is currently Senior Medical Director at Adaptive Biotechnologies and was previously Medical Director at Karius. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor of Infectious Diseases at Stanford University School of Medicine and an Attending infectious disease physician at the Palo Alto Medical Foundation.
Dr. Dalai is an academic-industry hybrid with expertise in genomics, medical diagnostics, and clinical trials. His medical experience includes residency in Internal Medicine, fellowship in Infectious Diseases, and PhD / postdoctoral training in bioinformatics, data science, genomics, epidemiology / clinical research studies, and international public health. Dr. Dalai holds degrees from Stanford, MIT, and UC Berkeley School of Public Health. He has received numerous teaching and leadership awards and research grants and has co-authored multiple publications. His work has been supported by the National Institutes of Health, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, and the Paul and Daisy Soros Foundation.
