Dr. Roghmann is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is also a VA Investigator, Staff Physician and Associate Hospital Epidemiologist for the VA Maryland Health Care System. She is an infectious disease physician and epidemiologist who studies how to prevent infections due to antibiotic resistant bacteria through preventing transmission of antibiotic resistant bacteria and the development of infections. Her current work is focused on developing evidence based recommendations for decreasing MRSA and other MDRO transmission in nursing homes and preventing diabetic foot ulcers.
