Jacob Choby, Ph.D. is a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of David Weiss at Emory University School of Medicine, in the Emory Antibiotic Resistance Center and Emory Vaccine Center. Jacob received his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from Vanderbilt University under the advisement of Eric Skaar, studying heme homeostasis in Staphylococcus aureus. In the Weiss lab, Jacob studies antibiotic heteroresistance in Gram-negative pathogens.
