Prof. Pierre Tattevin is head of the Infectious Diseases Department at Rennes University Hospital, France, President of the French Society of Infectious Diseases (SPILF), and chair the Alliance for the Prudent Use of Antibiotics (APUA). He has two research lines: infective endocarditis and central nervous system infections. He has co-authored >450 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
