Camilo A. Ruiz-Bedoya, MD is a Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, interrogating the pathophysiology of extrapulmonary tuberculosis. He is researching new drug regimens and molecular imaging technologies for TB meningoencephalitis. Dr. Ruiz-Bedoya has validated new radiotracers for renal imaging in humans and lung inflammation imaging in models of COVID-19. Camilo holds an M.D from the Pontifica Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, Bogota. When not in the lab, he enjoys climbing, running or biking
