Zaid Haddadin, MD. Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Vanderbilt Univerisity Medical Center. My work focuses on influenza vaccination in the immunocompromised host and viral acute respiratory infections in the pediatric population worldwide, including respiratory syncytial virus, influenza, coronaviruses, among others. My team and I are interested in understanding the epidemiology, clinical characteristics, and factors associated with increased disease severity in viral acute respiratory infections, to help in developing preventive and treatment measures and promote antibiotic stewardship for viral illnesses.
