Adriana Sarmiento Clemente, MD was born and raised in Venezuela, where she graduated medical school from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in Caracas. She completed her pediatric residency at Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Miami and is currently a second-year fellow in pediatric infectious diseases at Baylor College of Medicine/ Texas Children's Hospital at Houston, Texas. She is interested in pursuing a career mostly focused on clinical pediatric infectious diseases and clinical research involving the most common pathogens causing pediatric bacterial infection, including Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus pneumoniae.
