I received my M.D degree from the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) in Lebanon in 2015. After graduation, I spent 1 year in infectious diseases research as a research fellow under supervision of the head of ID department at the AUBMC. I participated as a study coordinator in a multinational randomized controlled study (The MERINO trial) among other infectious diseases research projects. I then attended Wayne State University/ Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, Michigan for my Internal Medicine Residency which I completed in summer of 2020. I am currently undergoing my Infectious Diseases fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. My research focus at the Mayo Clinic is device related infections.
