Dr. Talbot is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Health Policy at Vanderbilt University Medical Center with a special interest in the epidemiology and prevention of respiratory disease in older adults. She evaluates vaccine efficacy and effectiveness in adults. She currently is a voting member of the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (ACIP), and is on the COVID work group for both ACIP and the Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE).
