Jennifer Dan, M.D., Ph.D. is an Assistant Professot at the Univeristy of California, San Diego and Clinical Associate and Instructor at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology. She graduated from Boston University School of Medicine and did her internal medicine residency and infectious disease fellowship at UCSD. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at LJI in the laboratory of Dr. Shane Crotty. Her research interests focus on studying immune responses to infectious diseases, with her career development award centered on understanding why some children get recurrent strep throat. Most recently her research interset has focused on assessing the adaptive immune response to SARS-CoV-2.
