I am a clinical and translational researcher focusing on HIV, and now COVID-19. I am an Assistant Professor in Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology at the University of Washington, where I direct the UW AIDS Clinical Trials Unit. I also am an Assistant Professor at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where I direct the COVID-19 Clinical Research Center and also work on studies of inflammation and HIV-associated malignancies. I am pleased to get to serve and advocate as a Director on the HIVMA Board since 2019.
