Benjamin Hanisch, MD, is an assistant professor of pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and is an attending in pediatric infectious diseases and director of the Transplant Infectious Disease Program at Children’s National Health System in Washington, D.C. His research and clinical interests include prevention and diagnosis of infections in patients who have received solid organ or blood and marrow transplantation.
