Kevin Downes is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania and an Attending Physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He is faculty of the Center for Pediatric Clinical Effectiveness and the Center for Clinical Pharmacology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. His research interests include pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic modeling of antibiotics in children, the pharmacoepidemiology of antimicrobials in pediatrics, and the role of biomarkers in the management of critically ill and immunocompromised children.
