Dr. Surabhi (Sara) Vora is currently an Associate Professor at Seattle Children's Hospital in the Division of Pediatric Infectious Diseases. She has worked previously at the University of Chicago and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. She earned an undergraduate degree at Stanford University and then attended the University of Chicago for medical school, pediatric residency and pediatric infectious disease fellowship training. Dr. Vora also earned a Masters in Public Health with a focus on International Health at Harvard University.
Dr. Vora's primary research interests are in optimizing the management of viral and fungal infections in immunocompromised children. She is a co-investigator in the International Pediatric Fungal Network and the PIDS Transplant Infectious Diseases Research Network. She also serves as a consultant to the Seattle Children's Hospital Clinical Effectiveness program, assisting with the development and implementation of standardized clinical pathways of care for patients at Seattle Children's Hospital.
