Dr. Harold is an infectious disease physician and climate advocate. She started her career as an environmental grassroots organizer, and after being struck time and time again by the health impacts of environmental damage she decided to pursue a career in medicine. She went to George Washington University for medical school then completed Internal Medicine training at Georgetown University Hospital. She was chief resident and then a hospitalist at the DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center. She completed fellowship in Infectious Diseases at George Washington University and now practices in Washington, D.C. where she is the Supervisory Medical Officer at the DC Department of Health (DC Health) in the HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis, STDs and Tuberculosis Administration. Dr. Harold is also proud to work part-time as an advocacy consultant with the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health.
