Dr. Pai is Professor and Chair of Clinical Pharmacy and Deputy Director of the Pharmacokinetics Core Laboratory at the University of Michigan. His research focus is optimal drug dose selection in specific populations such as obesity and abnormal kidney function. He earned his Pharm.D. from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio, Texas, a pharmacy practice residency at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, New York, and an infectious diseases/pharmacokinetics fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Pai has over 150 publications and has received multiple awards for his scientific contributions including a regulatory science excellence award from the US FDA.
