Dr. Zanthia Wiley is an Associate Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Emory University and the Director of Antimicrobial Stewardship at Emory University Hospital Midtown. She attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine (Birmingham) and completed both her Internal Medicine residency and Infectious Diseases fellowship at Emory. She has the unique experience of having worked as an academic hospitalist at Emory for 10 years prior to pursuing a career in infectious diseases. She is an active member of both SHEA and IDSA. She serves on the Emory Department of Medicine’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, the Emory Collaborative Community Outreach and Health Disparities Research Initiative, and serves as the physician lead of the Emory Healthcare COVID-19 Treatment Guidance Committee. Research Interests: Health Disparities/Health Equity, Antimicrobial Stewardship.
