Russell Petrak MD is the managing partner of Metro Infectious Disease Consultants, a group of over 100 ID physicians, working in 7 states. Over the last 27 years, he has interviewed hundreds of physician applicants for positions and negotiated numerous contracts for the group. He has given the "How to Get a Job" presentation at the IDSA sponsored Fellow's meeting for 15 years and has lectured in numerous forums on negotiating skills and techniques.

Dr. Petrak attended medical school and did internship, residency, and ID fellowship at Rush in Chicago. He is a Fellow if IDSA.
