She completed her pharmacy practice residency at University Health System and specialty residency in Infectious Diseases at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System, both in conjunction with The University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, TX. She has spent the last 8 years as a member of the Antimicrobial Stewardship team at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. Her current professional interests are antimicrobial stewardship, antifungal therapy and Gram-negative resistance.
