Biographical Sketch: Charles A. Peloquin, Pharm.D., FCCP
Professor Chuck Peloquin received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Connecticut, and his Doctor of Pharmacy from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science.
He completed his residency at Duke University Medical Center and his fellowship in Infectious Diseases and Pharmacokinetics at the Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, New York.
For 33 years, he has been the Director of the Infectious Disease Pharmacokinetics Laboratory (IDPL), first at National Jewish Health in Denver, and for the past 12 years, at the University of Florida. The IDPL is an international reference clinical and research laboratory, specializing in antibiotic pharmacology and therapeutic drug monitoring.
Prof. Peloquin also is a co-author of the national TB Treatment Guidelines, the national AIDS Opportunistic Infection Guidelines, and a contributor to WHO TB Treatment Guidelines.
