Dr. Marjorie Bateman completed medical school, Internal Medicine residency, and Chief Residency at Tulane University School of Medicine. She is currently a clinical and research fellow in the Harvard/Brigham and Women's Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship Program. She has had the privilege to care for many patients with Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia (PCP), and her recent research in Dr. Jay Kolls' lab focused on identifying novel diagnostic methods for PCP. Her current research interests include pulmonary infections, sepsis, and acute lung injury.
