Dr. Ostrowsky is a Field Medical Officer for the Centers Disease Control and Prevention, Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion (CDC, DHQP) stationed in NY addressing healthcare associated infections and multi drug resistant pathogens in an array of healthcare settings, including C. auris, CRE and most recently COVID-19.
Dr. Ostrowsky is the former Healthcare Epidemiologist and Antimicrobial Stewardship Program Director at Montefiore and Albert Einstein College of Medicine (where she still remain faculty). Together with her ASP team, Dr. Ostrowsky developed a program that is a model in the New York City area, and for which she (and the team) have been recognized regionally and nationally.
