Dr. Laila Woc-Colburn is an associate professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Woc-Colburn is a passionate clinical-educator since her fellowship days at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. After successful career at Baylor College of Medicine where she received several clinical and teaching awards, she moved to oversee the OPAT clinical and Orthopedics-Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Emory. She has a wide range of interests including tropical medicine, HIV, mycosis and medical education. Her passion is to teach the next generation of health workers about infectious diseases topics.
