Dr. Steven Pergam is an Associate Member in the Clinical Research and Vaccine and Infectious Diseases Division of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center; Associate Professor in the Division of Allergy & Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington; and the Director of Infection Prevention at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, in Seattle, WA. His current research interests focuses on the epidemiology of major transplant pathogens and on the development of novel prevention strategies for community and healthcare-associated infections in cancer and hematopoietic cell transplant patients.
